Kristie and I met when we were about 3 years old because our older brothers were in the same class at St. Nicholas. Kristie moved in 4th grade but our parents kept our families connected with small trips and summer vacations together. Kristie studied nursing at Dominican College in San Rafael (Sandra Berry’s alma mater) which is conveniently about 50 minutes from San Jose State. Just about every weekend was one of us commuting to visit the other, this is how Kristie met Kyle very early on :). Kristie is now a Labor and Delivery Nurse and lives in Morgan Hill with her husband, Adam!

If Blake is running late, it’s because he’s either playing music, on the lake or capturing photos and videos religiously. Blake and I grew up a few blocks away off a street named Porter Lane, which later became the name of our rock band. We were fortunate to become college roommates at San Jose State University, and furthermore fortunate to run with the bulls in Pamplona while backpacking through Europe. Today, Blake resides in Campbell, with his better half, Maddy… only 1 house away from Valentina and I.

Renee is my oldest sister, and I laid on the floor and cried when she left for college. With a little bit of an age difference, we were going through completely different things in life but she was always there for me. She and Andrea tried to help me through my awkward phases, but I was reluctant, and now when we look at old pictures we all laugh. Though she knows my most embarrassing moments (and she remembers them all because she was older than me at the time), she has always been there in the moments I needed her most. Renee, her husband, Matt and their children Jude (11) and Reese (2) live in San Luis Obispo!

Sam and I met and became close at San Jose State, where we played club Water Polo together. Our relationship grew quickly with snowboarding, backpacking, and many more outdoor activities while attending college. Sam lived in a house notorious for holding house parties I would always attend. He may be younger than I am, but I’ve always looked up to Sam for the precedent he sets with the rest of us clowns. Today Sam lives with his beautiful wife Lindsey and handsome son Grayson in Walnut Creek, CA.

Andrea is my sibling closest in age. Being the youngest of 4, there is no doubt that I was annoying, so I’m not surprised that Andrea wanted to put tape across the room we shared growing up to show which side was mine and which was hers’. As we grew older, we became closer and have shared many unforgettable moments together. Andrea moved home after graduating college when I was at San Jose State, so she would often visit and that’s how she got to first meet Kyle :). She’s always down for a good time and has been my date to many country concerts in life - which she probably had no intention of attending, but she still went with me because she knew how much I wanted to be there. Andrea lives in Los Angeles now with her boyfriend, Andrew, and their cute pup Pam!

Kyle and I are two peas in a pod. When anyone is with Kyle, the energy levels are escalated and there is never a dull moment. The conversations are typically filled with laughter, Golden State Warriors or golf... but mostly laughter. We became close at Piedmont Middle School and even closer in High School at Piedmont Hills. The real fun began at the San Jose Country Club. Many hours were spent picking up golf balls, playing a few holes while clocked-in, and pulling off maneuvers in a golf cart you would have never thought would be possible. Many golf carts were broken and for some reason, we continued to remain employed. Today Kyle resides in Sacramento, CA.

Darya and I met in high school through club water polo. I think the first time we knew we were one and the same was at a weekend tournament where we got in trouble for trying to take a nap on the pool deck in between games. We spent all of high school playing together in the summers but competing against each other during the regular season because our high schools were rivals. Through it all, she has always been my friend first. Our nickname for each other is Larry and when we’re together it’s non-stop laughs - at ourselves and everything around us. Darya currently lives and works in San Francisco!

Anthony and I went to San Jose State together and grew very close after college. We had a similar taste in music, and we have always seemed to chase down a live show. We’ve been on many spontaneous trips to San Diego, and many spontaneous country music shows together as well. For the past few years, we have seemed to always make an attendance to a Warriors game and unfortunately, this year won’t be to the typical playoff game we attend. My favorite pastime with Anthony is hands down a good showdown at the Saddle Rack. Anthony and his lovely new wife Lia reside in Fremont today, only a few miles from the Saddle Rack.

Mary Catherine and I grew up next door to each other on Newbridge drive. We spent many early mornings carpooling to St. Nicholas, then St. Francis, and always water polo practices. There were a few times we might have skipped swimming practice to go to taco bell - but we were still very competitive. Thankfully she went to Santa Clara University so we’ve never had to be too far from each other. Mary Catherine has always been like an extra sibling to me, and I am very grateful for that. She works at Stanford and she and her husband, Richard, live in Redwood City!

Sam will tell you at one point in time he was my boss. On paper, this might have been true, but his lenient management with us made me realize he was just being a great friend (at one point myself, Kyle U., Blake, and Matt all worked under Sam at the San Jose Country Club). I’m not sure why he never fired us, to be honest. Today Sam lives only 1 street away which makes it very convenient for us to meet at our local watering hole, Coach’s, for a beer. We’ve only become closer over the years with skiing, golfing, and time together outside. He and his girlfriend Kelly have been excellent neighbors and even better friends.

Jennie and I met in freshman 1a-1b Math at St. Francis high school. We both played water polo and started to spend more time together than anyone else. We share a love for live music and have been to countless shows together. She was my partner in crime for that random Tuesday night in San Francisco where I ran into Kyle again for the first time after college. We have a mutual understanding that wild impromptu adventures can be just as fun as a day spent on the couch eating popcorn and laughing together. Jennie lives in Los Gatos and teaches 1st grade in Los Altos!

Max and I were roommates for a few years after college, where we grew close as we focused on new careers. I will forever cherish my memories with Max, as it was a crucial time in earning our stripes in new sales roles and leaning on each for and advice in general. He too loves to ski, hike, and spend as much time as possible in the water. My favorite attribute of Maxwell’s is the fact he could have a conversation with anyone. He currently lives in San Francisco, CA and is dating his lovely girlfriend, Kristen.

Rachel and I met through water polo at San Jose State. I will never forget the day our coach emailed the incoming freshmen with each other’s contact information so we could connect on campus the following week. A few hours later, I got a text from a San Diego number, “Hi, this is Rachel! I got your number from Lou’s email, what are you up to?” We instantly hit it off, because my response was exactly what she was doing - relaxing by the pool. We were roommates for the majority of college where she would regularly perform karaoke in our kitchen and now has taken her talents to...pretty much anywhere with a microphone - but she can also use a broom, or even a water bottle. Rachel moved back home to San Diego to complete school and although there were many miles between us, our laughs were just as loud as when we were together. Rachel and her husband Jeremy (newlyweds!) will be moving from San Diego to Idaho this summer!

Brett is hands down the comedian of our group. With that, he is also a dedicated salesman. He and I were roommates after college as we were both entering the corporate world beginning our careers. It felt like we did everything together, including the harassment of our third roommate, Max. Brett, like all of the Groomsmen, loves the outdoors and a cold beer. Today, he lives with his fiancé Macey, and golden retriever, Pali, in San Francisco, CA.

Holly and I met at San Jose State. She was a gymnast, so we knew who each other were but didn’t actually spend time together until our junior year, and then we were inseparable. We became roommates and our breaks during all-nighters studying for finals consisted of handstand lessons for me (she's a great teacher, but I still can't do a handstand). Holly is the biggest country music fan and will sing at the top of her lungs in front of anyone. Our memories together started in college, but there are more than some people will have in a lifetime. We’ve uncontrollably laughed together through parties, concerts, travel adventures, and eating too many tacos at Puesto’s. Holly is from Los Angeles but currently attending nursing school in Yreka!

I like to consider Evan as my most focused friend, hands down. His hands are always occupied on a project. We also met in college, and we’ve grown close with hunting, fishing, CrossFit and more. Evan currently resides in Palo Alto, CA with his lovely fiancé Jess (depending on when you’re reading this, they will be married on May 2nd, 2020 – cheers to them☺). I often go to Evan for advice, and will always cherish our time spent together.

Matt loves to go fast and loves action. Like many of my Groomsmen, Matt and I spent a lot of time on the mountain. If it was skiing or mountain biking in Alum Rock Park – Matt was always at the bottom of the hill first. We grew close in High School and have remained to grow close through the years. Matt, along with like many other Groomsmen, worked alongside us at the San Jose Country Club picking up golf balls and causing a ruckus. Matt currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
